Gian Luca Vriz

Intro

I have a strong orientation toward econometrics with a double degree in Political and Empirical Economics at the University of Graz and Udine. Currently, I am enrolled as a PhD student at the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Padova. I have also approached fields such as eco-sustainability, construction and financial audits. A person who is always open to new ventures aimed at personal enrichment with a proactive approach.

Work & Education

In 2016 I finished high school earning the title of the master builder (C9-CAT) at the I.S.I.S. Fermo Solari.
In 2019 I got a bachelor's degree in Economics (L-33) at the University of Udine with a dissertation on statistical models for economics and marketing.
Later I specialized at the University of Graz, obtaining a double degree in Political and Empirical Economics (L-56). The dissertation was an econometric analysis of the impact of Covid-19 on the elderly population.
I have enrolled at the University of Padova as a PhD student, with a thesis on climate risk management. Durning my studies, I collaborated with the Head of the Risk Integration Department at Prometeia Spa and with the BCCaS centre at the University of Edinburgh.

From 2019 to 2021 I was an academic tutor at the Economics Department while since 2022 I have been an active representative of PhD students at the Department of Statistical Sciences.
